What information TripPup collects

• Account identifiers such as email, plus trial and subscription status.
• Trip content including itineraries, notes, bookings, expenses, and receipts.
• Photos, OCR inputs, voice inputs, and speech transcripts when users choose those features.
• Approximate or precise location when permission is granted for nearby and context-aware tools.
• Device and app data such as model, OS version, app version, language, and diagnostic logs.

Permissions and product use

TripPup requests access only when needed for a specific feature. Depending on what a user chooses to do, the app may request location, microphone, speech recognition, photo library, or camera access.

• Core uses include itinerary planning, translation, assistant replies, and nearby recommendations.
• Data may be processed on TripPup servers to fulfill those features.
• For AI features, TripPup may call third-party AI providers configured for the user region, such as Google Gemini or Alibaba Qwen.
• TripPup does not sell personal data.

Sharing, storage, and retention

• Data may be shared with infrastructure providers, diagnostics providers if enabled, Apple for subscription processing, or authorities when legally required.
• Local app data may be stored in UserDefaults and Keychain on the device.
• Server-side processing may be used to deliver product features, but content is not intended to be stored permanently unless explicitly stated.
• On-device data remains until the user deletes it, signs out, deletes the account, or uninstalls the app.
• Some Keychain items may persist across reinstall to preserve trial eligibility.

User rights and important notice

Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of their data, and may withdraw consent where applicable. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, so important safety, legal, visa, transportation, or financial information should always be verified independently.
